School Aims

Our aims are:

1. To work with parents and Governors to make Great Whelnetham School   
a secure and stimulating place to work, where children and staff are
encouraged to strive for excellence .

2. To ensure that all children work hard to achieve the highest possible
standards, especially in the basic skills.

3. To provide a broad and balanced curriculum, relevant to the society in which
we live.

4. To encourage children to show care, courtesy and respect for other people.

5. To help children feel proud of themselves, their school and their learning
and to develop self-confidence and the ability to make their own decisions.

6. To maintain a strong, positive partnership between home and school and to
be clear, open and honest in our communication with parents.
