We have just been awarded our Activemark!We are a small Church of England Voluntary Controlled primary school with 69 children. Situated 4 miles South of Bury St Edmunds in the small, farming community of Great Whelnetham, about 33 miles East of Cambridge.

Extra curricular activities
Throughout the year various clubs and activities are organised by the staff. Some of these take place at lunchtimes whilst others are after school. Sometimes specialist teachers or coaches visit the school to lead some of the activities. Some of the activities provided recently are: football, gymnastics, Chinese, French, art and choir.
