We have just been awarded our Activemark!We are a small Church of England Voluntary Controlled primary school with 69 children. Situated 4 miles South of Bury St Edmunds in the small, farming community of Great Whelnetham, about 33 miles East of Cambridge.

PTFA
The school is fortunate to have a hardworking PTFA and we value its contribution highly. Fund-raising events are held throughout the year and the money raised provides the children with a variety of equipment, funds visiting theatre groups and also helps with school visits. The Association provides an important link between teacher and parents enabling them to mix socially, as well as helping to meet children's educational needs. All staff and parents are automatically members.
The Annual General Meeting is held in October, and we are always keen to have some new committee members each year.
